Growing up on the coast, life had a different rhythm. It was early mornings with salty air, coffee in hand, and the only hurry you had was to catch the sunrise. It was the pink and orange skies that made you pause, conversations that lingered, and the feeling that the best moments were the simple ones shared with the people around you.

When I moved away from the beach, I realized it wasn't just the ocean I missed—it was the pace of life. The way a slow morning and a great cup of coffee could make everything feel a little bit lighter.

That's the feeling I wanted to recreate.

August is more than a mobile coffee cart—it's a way of bringing that coastal feeling wherever people gather. Whether we're serving lattes at a wedding, iced coffees at a corporate event, or handcrafted drinks at a backyard celebration, our goal is always the same: to create a space where people take a step back, connect, and enjoy the moment.

Our coastal roots show up in everything we do—from our simple, relaxed aesthetic to our Georgia local beans roasted in the heart of Saint Simons Island. We want every guest to leave feeling like they've experienced a little slice of those easy beach mornings, no matter where they are.
